CFWC Convention Art Show

“Participation in the arts helps connect clubs to their communities and promote the artistic achievements of club members. All entries for CFWC’s arts and crafts competition are submitted through your District. Only entries winning 1st place at the district level are eligible for CFWC competition.”

GFWC Jennie Award

The annual GFWC Jennie Award honors one clubwoman from each region for outstanding commitment to club, community and family. Clubs are encouraged to select a deserving member and submit an application for their nominee.” Application deadline May 1, 2021 (postmark).

CFWC Club Newsletter Contest
Sonja Hults, Chair
Submit 3 copies of your best club or district newsletter published in the prior calendar year to this chairman by February 1 (postmark). Include a cover sheet containing: club/district name, # members, newsletter editor’s contact info AND a 250-word narrative on usage, distribution, frequency of newsletter, and other pertinent information.
NOTE: GFWC also sponsors a club level newsletter contest. For details visit GFWC.org (search “Contests”). GFWC entries are due by March 15 (postmark) and must be submitted directly to GFWC, 1734 N. St. NW, Washington, DC 20036. GFWC Award is $50.00.
CFWC Photography & Creative Writing Contests

All members are welcome to share their creative talents through CFWC’s annual photography and creative writing contests. Encourage members to capture poignant moments with creative writing entries and visual storytelling.

CFWC Young Musician’s Competition

“Young musicians need our encouragement! Studies confirm that students who participate in musical activities accomplish more academically and are more likely to attend college. Clubs are urged to encourage local young musicians and vocalists to enter our annual competition. This chairman will visit your District or Club, offer suggestions and any assistance needed to promote participation.”
