CFWC Convention Art Show
NOTE: There will be NO art show/competition at the 2024 CFWC convention.
GFWC Jennie Award

GFWC’s Jennie Award honors one clubwoman from each GFWC region for her outstanding commitment to club, community and family. Clubs are encouraged to select a deserving member and submit an application for their nominee.
GFWC awards the Jennie Award to one recipient during each administration. Nomination forms (from clubs) are due to State Federations by 6/1/23.

CFWC Newsletter Contest

Submit 3 copies of your best club or district newsletter published in the prior calendar year to this chairman by February 1 (postmark). Include a cover sheet containing: club/district name, # members, newsletter editor’s contact info AND 250-word narrative on usage, distribution, frequency of newsletter, and other pertinent information.
NOTE: GFWC also sponsors a club level newsletter contest. Visit GFWC.org (search Contests). GFWC entries due March 15 and must be submitted directly to GFWC. GFWC Award is $50.00.
CFWC Photography & Creative Writing Contests

All members are welcome to share their creative talents through CFWC’s annual photography and creative writing contests. Encourage members to capture poignant moments with creative writing entries and visual storytelling. Entries must be written or photographed between 1/1/23 – 12/31/23. Additional info in links below:

Creative Arts Waiver
CFWC Young Musician’s Competition

“Young musicians need our encouragement! Studies confirm that students who participate in musical activities accomplish more academically and are more likely to attend college. Clubs are urged to encourage local young musicians and vocalists to enter our annual competition. This chairman will visit your District or Club, offer suggestions and any assistance needed to promote participation.”
